We are looking for a Director to join our Deal Desk team & strategically drive day-to-day deal operations & foster the next phase of capabilities in the team to exponentially increase sales velocity. This role is a global role that reports to the Sr Director of Sales Operations - Worldwide Deal Desk & will manage an existing team of six direct reports across the Americas & internationally in EMEA & APAC.
This high-visibility role significantly impacts global operational efficiency & internal customer/stakeholder success as well as Confluent profitability. This role will partner closely with Finance, Legal, Product Marketing, Product Management, & Business Systems to develop & execute operational plans, priorities, & policies.
For this role, we are seeking an analytically sharp leader that can easily identify gaps & agilely guide the team in quickly addressing the field's needs. This person will shepherd hard the team in striking the perfect balance between deal velocity, deal structure/economics, & deal accuracy. The ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment will be key to success. Empathy & the ability to work collaboratively across teams, cultures, & time zones is a must!
