Cadre is looking for a professional, friendly & highly-motivated Office Manager to support our growing team. This person will be responsible for keeping the office organized & well stocked while thinking of new ways to encourage productivity & efficiencies. The Office Manager will maintain our pantry & office supplies, ensuring all essentials are well stocked & replenished. This person will work to preserve the sense of community & to make anyone who walks through our door feel welcome. Team gatherings, events & surprise & delight moments are an integral part of our culture & this person will work the plan & execute. The ideal candidate possesses a no task too small, no task too big attitude, is naturally empathetic, proactively owns & solves problems, & brings everyone along in the fun. This role reports into the Culture & Events Manager & has potential to grow to encompass additional responsibilities including large-scale external events, office design + office expansion project management.


  • Maintenance of team roster, floor plan, internal phone list & emergency contact spreadsheet
  • Own, supervise & ensure office & storage areas are kept tidy & organized on daily, weekly & monthly basis
  • Conference room maintenance; checking room calendars for meeting schedules. Handle room set up, breakdown & special requests
  • Ensure seamless ordering & management office supplies + furniture - track budget, own budget & make recommendations to optimize for spend
  • Facilities management including working with external vendors on repairs as needed
  • Accept & sort all incoming deliveries, mail, etc., notify team members when necessary & route mail to recipients
  • Ad-hoc projects
  • Partner with Culture & Events Manager on large team meetings (weekly All-Hands, monthly Town Hall); annual company-wide offsite; annual company holiday party misc. small-team events + wellness initiatives. All events should be within budget - collaborative, innovative, exciting
  • Order, set-up & tear-down of any team meals - breakfasts, lunches, snacks and/or dinners
  • Assist in overseeing new hire on-boarding: tech + software (with IT team), desk setup, operational logistics, business cards, etc.
  • Manage team celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, deal closings, etc.)
  • Maintain SWAG catalog & inventory
  • Keep people surprised & engaged - bi-monthly team surprises - 15 minute team high energy moments/activities that we can do in the office
  • Greet guests, candidates & visitors, & when necessary, escort them to their meeting rooms & announce guests to hosts
  • Assist with all People Programs
  • Forward thinking on new team initiatives, culture-building events & business efficiencies


  • At least 4 years experience in reception, operations or office management - scaling startup experience a plus
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems & procedures
