Were looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team at the FanDuel Sportsbook, located in the Meadowlands Racetrack. This person will help to deliver unparalleled customer service by providing quality information to customers & personally enhancing their sports wagering experience. We are looking for customer service-oriented individuals who are positive, outgoing, operate with a high level of computer proficiency & have a passion for sports.  This role is a direct hire for the Meadowlands Racetrack.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Responsible for keeping a well-stocked, clean & organized workstation/area
  • Maintain a professional appearance that reflects the FanDuel Standards
  • Greet a high volume of customers & answer questions in a polite & courteous manner to maintain a fun, positive & supportive teamwork environment
  • Drive commercial-oriented events in both the sportsbook & outside venues
  • Responsible for promoting new product launches
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively
  • Facilitate new product launches & drive business through promotions & initiatives
  • Responsible for printing betting sheets daily, self-service terminals & a/v system
  • Other administrative tasks & duties as necessary & assigned

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Previous experience working a high-volume front line or guest facing position
  • Ability to work closely with people & be able to handle customer & staff issues in an effective, equitable & friendly manner
  • Must be able to remain calm & decisive in high stress conditions
  • Detail oriented with sound math & clerical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of computers, touch screens & a/v systems
  • Must be able to work weekends & holidays as scheduled
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the state of New Jersey
  • Must be able to obtain a racing license from the state of New Jersey
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills; ability to act professionally & confidently interact with all constituents.
  • Demonstrates poise, tact, judgment & diplomacy
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends & holidays as needed
