Our Sales Development team is a key part of the New Business Sales team consisting of Sales Managers & New Business Account Executives. As the Senior Inbound Sales Development Manager, you will lead a team of managers that supports all levels of the organization by qualifying marketing leads & creating new opportunities that add pipeline & revenue to the broader sales organization. This includes joining a team with people who are smart, organized, thorough, & take pride in initiating meaningful relationships with future customers.


Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic & has a demonstrated track record of sales leadership.  They also have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales development management.
  • Experience in successfully managing people to achieve performance goals.
  • Ability to hire, onboard, & continuously train new sales representatives.
  • Natural leader with the ability to coach managers & reps how to be flexible & adaptable to changing conditions at a fast-paced, growing company
  • Experience in successfully managing people to achieve performance goals.
  • Robust analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, organizational & time management skills.
  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.

      Bonus Point: 

  • Previous experience in the cloud or enterprise software space.

  • WRITE IT DOWN: Monitor key systems & processes to ensure proper operation of the business.
  • NO SHENANIGANS: Analyze campaign & marketing data to make key business decisions.


The Sales Development team is central to Twilio's continued growth. The primary function of the Sr. Inbound Sales Development Manager is to build & scale an efficient & effective inbound lead generation program. This includes mentorship & personnel management, managing & oversight of all deals through the qualification process, interacting with leads, meeting team goals for pipeline created, & coaching the inbound teams.
