ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary responsibility of the Creative Resource Manager is to manage staffing for all Business Development & active client projects for the US office, acting as liaison among the team for all resourcing-related issues. They work directly with Recruitment & HR to facilitate appropriate staffing based on aggregate understanding of project requirements, staffing trends & future staffing needs. 

It is essential that the person in this role enforces existing company processes with resourcing partners (project managers, project leads & office leadership) & helps to evolve & enhance resource reporting to inform business decisions based on accurate data.

This role reports to the Director of Business Operations & will be a part of the US team. We are open to candidates based anywhere in the US, willing to work on Eastern Time. 

This role is a full time staff position, open to remote working & offered at the Manager to Associate Director tier (depending on years of relevant experience) with a salary range of $85,000 - $105,000, plus benefits & a generous PTO policy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as point of contact for resource booking confirmation, resource conflict resolution, & development of solutions in support of client deliverables. Ensuring the right resources, with the right skillsets, are available at the right times.
  • Liaise with resourcing managers from other geographies on a weekly basis to coordinate shared resources on an as-needed basis.
  • Support in the development of training on Resource Management best practices & processes for all functions who participate in resource allocation. 
  • Manage hiring recommendations based on forecasted resource needs. 
  • Manage, update, & communicate changes to staffing data in Mavenlink & supporting forecast sheets.
  • Work to identify appropriate resource requirements for each account & project in collaboration with Project Managers & Project Leads.
  • Maintain knowledge of current & upcoming projects & business development activities as they relate to resourcing.
  • Alert Senior Management team of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.
  • Drive timesheet compliance to ensure accurate business reporting that informs hiring decisions.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years resource management or project management experience as a project manager, traffic manager, recruiter, or resource manager (or other business with a  matrixed staffing model)
  • Proficiency in standard business word processing, spreadsheet & presentation software (Purpose primarily uses Google services).
  • Effective conflict-resolution & problem-solving skills.
  • Clear & concise communication in both written & verbal form.
  • Ability to be diplomatic to drive business forward or obtain results through ambiguity & conflicting needs.
  • Highly detail oriented & able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks & tight deadlines with confidence & ease. 
  • Ability to prioritize & organize workload across multiple groups.
  • Familiarity with Mavenlink, our resource & financial reporting platform, is a huge plus.
  • Eligibility to work in the US.
