We are searching for Hospitality Service Technicians/Event Servers at our Quorum by Convene (1221 Avenue of the Americas) property as well as at our Park Avenue Tower location. You will provide genuine anticipatory service to clients, members, & attendees in all aspects of hospitality & conference services. In this position, you will interact with our clients & ensure they have a great experience at Convene! You will work in partnership with the Culinary, Production, & Technology teams.

What Youll Do:

• Set up, replenish, maintain, & break down Food & Beverage stations
• Accurately answer client questions our spaces & culinary offerings in a friendly manner
• Read, understand, & execute Program Execution Orders (PEOs)
• Have full knowledge of menus, recipes, & other pertinent information
• Set up & break down conference rooms & refresh rooms as needed
• Accommodate special client needs & last-minute requests
• Perform facility maintenance
• Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, & proper food handling
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We Look For: 

• 2+ years of server experience
• 1 year of coffee experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Food & Beverage Services 
• Food Hygiene or Food Handling Certificate preferred
• TIPS Certification preferred
• Flexible & long hours are sometimes required
• Ability to move, carry, push, pull & place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to reach overhead & below the knees
• Ability to stand, sit, & walk for an extended period of time

Full Time Hourly Rate: $21.00

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums & maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience & other relevant factors.
