As an Atlanta Marketing Producer, you will own the local marketing plan in Atlanta from end-to-end. You'll create a strategy that allows us to grow the business efficiently by getting students to campus & using data on trends in our region to optimize our offerings. You'll capture & create value through high-impact, high-volume events & workshops & be responsible for creating meaningful partnership opportunities with noteworthy companies & organizations in Atlantas tech, design & startup ecosystem.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for increasing the size of the General Assembly audience & maintaining a highly engaged & valuable community, allowing GA to continue to grow, scale & change lives.
Strategy & Planning: Youll own & implement [metro]s workshop & event plan & strategy, including the format, content & cadence as well as promotional strategy. Youll be responsible for identifying new audiences & the best way to bring them to GA. Youll identify the proper speakers, partners & instructors to ensure quality programming that fills the room.
Program Execution: Youll execute on the workshop & event plan & strategy by running in-person programming on campus. You will manage a busy schedule of activity & programming that run multiple days of the week.
Cultivate Relationships: Youll develop new partnerships & maintain relationships with current partners. Youll engage local experts in tech, design, & business to participate in workshops & events as panelists, speakers, & instructors. Youll be in charge of managing the local partner, speaker, & workshop instructor pipeline for your metro.
Innovation: Youll be tasked with identifying & marketing new & existing compelling topics by creating enticing event descriptions & engaging content. Youll take ideas for new events & local campaigns from concept stage to launch.
Tracking & Reporting: You will keep track of & report on all metrics surrounding your workshop & event plan, identify opportunities & optimizations, & address metric pacing issues as necessary.
- 2-3+ years of event marketing, partnerships, or community management experience,
- Some prior experience in startups or tech companies is ideal
- An ability to multitask, prioritize, problem-solve, & execute in a timely fashion
- Creativity is essential to this role
