The Opportunity:

Title: Analyst, FP&A
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Reports to: Manager, FP&A

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis department in carrying out a variety of finance initiatives & functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized person who demonstrates a very keen attention to detail & an understanding of financial concepts. The ideal candidate has a high level of proficiency with complex spreadsheets on Excel & strong communication skills.


  • Assist in the preparation of reports that highlight the operational results, forecasts, & business plans of the company's various divisions & subsidiaries
  • Analyzing financial & operating results & informing senior management of key trends
  • Identify & analyze operational problems & recommend effective solutions
  • Help design & evaluate budgets, business plans, & forecasts for IAC & its divisions & subsidiaries
  • Perform monthly financial reporting, including detailed variance analysis & insightful commentary for corporate overhead expenses
  • Participate in the recurring budgeting & long-term planning processes to ensure proper reporting & variance analysis for corporate overhead expenses
  • Develop & maintain effective relationships to support IAC's department heads & subsidiary business partners at all levels of the organization
  • Prepare, review, & consolidate materials for quarterly earnings
  • Assist with special projects & financial analysis & modeling
  • Work closely with the finance managers within the business units & meet strict internal & external timelines/milestones


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent quantitative major
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and/or finance in a corporate environment
  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, economics, & statistics
  • Strong analytical & computer skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • High proficiency with MS office products
  • Ability to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated organizational skills & ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Must be able to provide strong academic credentials
  • Hyperion/Essbase experience is a plus
