ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing Analytics team at Peloton is a full-stack team responsible for data, analytics, & predictive modeling to accelerate & optimize subscription growth across all marketing channels. The team consists of 3 functional areas: Analytics Engineering, Advanced Analytics, & Go-to-Market (GTM) Performance.  

In this role, you will be an integral part of the GTM Performance team as a Senior Analyst! The teams mission is to assess the business impact of marketing initiatives through the use of robust measurement frameworks, prioritized KPIs, & scalable data tools & infrastructure. A hybrid of traditional responsibilities in product, marketing, & business analytics, this team is the "swiss army knife" of applying data for impact & plays a critical role in comprehensive measurement of acquisition, retention, & engagement critical metrics across our lines of business.

This role will report to the Director of Marketing Analytics - GTM Performance, & the ideal candidate combines eye for business & communication skills with analytical skills, & has experience marrying the art & science of analytics & working with cross-functional teams to interpret data & drive impact!

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Develop & maintain marketing performance dashboards to provide transparency into important metrics across the marketing organization
  • Deploy trainings, reference materials, & user-friendly data tools to empower marketers to make data-driven decisions
  • Conduct advanced analytics projects that drive insights into how to improve the performance of our marketing channels, particularly for key seasonal moments & new product launches
  • Partner with demand & media teams to forecast the impact of future initiatives on Hardware, App, & Membership outcomes
  • Understand internal & external data logging capabilities & translate measurement & reporting needs into business requirements/roadmaps for our engineering teams

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 4+ years of working experience working in an analytics role, of which at least 2 years have been in a marketing analytics capacity
  • Understanding of major marketing channels: TV, direct mail, paid social, video, search, etc.
  • Experience with media measurement (MMM, MTA, lift studies, A/B testing) across channels & understanding of strengths & weaknesses of each measurement methodology
  • Proficiency with SQL & Excel
  • Experience with data visualization technologies, such as Looker or Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when explaining technical or complex matters to partners
  • Comfort solving ambiguous problems without a clear right answer
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • A high degree of motivation to be proactive & go above & beyond the task at hand
  • Experience with statistical packages such SAS or R a plus
