FanDuel Group is looking to add a Compliance Analyst to its Gaming Investigations Unit (GIU), with experience in compliance and/or related operations to perform customer & vendor due due diligence & investigations in response to potentially suspicious behavior identified by FanDuel and/or requests received from gaming regulators & law enforcement. The Compliance Analyst will efficiently perform investigations & analysis of customer activity including wagering & game play, keep detailed records, execute according to procedure & adhere to all relevant confidentiality requirements.

This role will report into the Manager, Gaming Investigations Unit, & sits within the FanDuel Legal, Regulatory & Compliance function. Successful licensing with state gaming regulators will be required following employment.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Perform due diligence on customers whose accounts reach defined trigger thresholds or who engage in certain behaviors on FanDuel platforms
  • Investigate customers in response to information provided by internal stakeholders as well as regulators & law enforcement
  • Gather information & documentation to be provided in response to regulator & law enforcement inquiries while maintaining required confidentiality
  • Support operational reporting & tracking & other metrics that can be effectively used in risk-based reporting for senior management
  • Implement & execute compliance-related procedures, including sanctions screening, third party due diligence screening & geolocation assessment

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 1-3 years working in the compliance function of a highly regulated financial institution
  • Experience working at a law firm, or in law enforcement or investigations a plus
  • Demonstrated aptitude for application of critical thinking to process execution, including identification of process improvements
  • Ability to communicate clearly & efficiently, both orally & via email
  • Passion to work hard in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • An exceptional team builder & team player, with a desire to be a leader within FanDuel
