The Revenue Management team, within the Corporate Strategy group, creates insights that influence the future path of the organization. You will work on a vast data ecosystem that drives Convenes revenue recognition, commercial strategy, financials, & product roadmap. You will have a direct impact on the future of Convenes global business & product decisions!

As a Senior Revenue Analyst within Corporate Strategy, you will be a primary contact point for business teams for business intelligence & reporting requests. You will be involved in the strategic planning, forecasting, pricing, & revenue optimization insights. We leverage the AWS Cloud Platform & technologies such as Snowflake, Fivetran, Airflow, & Salesforce. You will work with the commercial, finance, analytics, & product community to create various insights around financial performance analysis, key metrics creation & revenue forecasting.

What Youll Do:

  • Create data visualizations to unlock revenue & sales trends across Convenes products
  • Work closely with the Revenue Management & Pricing Optimization teams to identify inventory trends, develop quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports & models that assist in informing pricing decisions
  • Leverage SQL, advanced excel, or other scripting & statistical tools to identify trends & analyze data discrepancies
  • Build & maintain dashboards for revenue team metrics
  • Work with Convenes strategic partners to expand their technical capabilities, thereby creating a more robust data environment
  • Manage project delivery, including estimating timelines, identifying risks, & leveraging cross-functional resources
  • Present products to business users & seek feedback for continued improvement
  • Provide business analytics guidance as needed to ensure a quality project solution & support analytics products in production
  • Identify opportunities & implement solutions that help provide efficiency within the Revenue Management team, including developing tools, processes, systems, & reports

What We Look For: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of business intelligence or revenue management experience, including leading BI projects
  • Extensive development experience with at least 1 data visualization platform (Tableau preferred)
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries to retrieve dimensional data, specifically on Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Postgres; dimensional data modeling experience a plus
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity & leverage data to make strategic decisions & recommendations for our functional partners
  • Experience managing the delivery of end to end BI solution builds, including timeline & stakeholder management
  • Strong professional communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences
  • Be inquisitive for knowledge, drive for results, always willing to learn new skills
  • Programming in Python is a plus
  • Ability to conceptualize data, reports & an aptitude for spotting trends & patterns
  • Sense of humor, tech savvy & able to thrive in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment which requires a roll-up the sleeves mentality
