The People Operations team at Clover Health consists of dedicated individuals that are excited about the opportunity to change healthcare & improve people's lives, which isn't an easy task! We provide guidance, support, & implement programs so that our teams have what they need to do their best work. It's a big job & we're lucky to be able to do it.

We are seeking a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Manager to support our D&I programming. You will report to our Director of Culture, Inclusion & Diversity & partner across People Operations to develop, implement & track various projects & programs.


As a D&I Program Manager, you will have 3 major focus areas. 

   Education & Training 30% 

  • Identify needs; develop & deliver learning & training materials pertaining to a range of D&I topics.
  • Maintain & increase your own knowledge of diversity-related legislation, issues, & best practices for maximum impact.
  • Other potential projects might include: 
    • Partnering with our D&I Specialist on revamping our cultural celebrations & awareness month recognitions.
    • Creating different function-specific learning tracks for cross-functional teams, e.g. Communications & HRBPs.

   Support & Elevate Staff  30%

  • Lead the Clover D&I Working Group a group composed of volunteers from all levels & teams in the organization to drive Clovers DEI progress. 
  • Serve as a resource & support employee led Affinity Groups to align on company & group expectations.
  • Create safe spaces for conversations with individuals & teams throughout the organization, which may include simply listening, discussions, or coaching.
  • Other potential projects might include: 
    • Develop an internal sponsorship program for the career advancement & retention of individuals from underrepresented groups.
    • Collaborating with HRBPs & the Director, Organizational Health to propose personalized D&I goals, deliverables, & strategies for managers.

    Provide Recruiting Support - 20%

  • Develop & deliver interview-bias training for members of Clovers interview panels.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team & hiring managers to ensure best practices & processes are known & therefore used in our recruiting strategies.
  • Other potential projects might include: 
  • Partner with recruiting in identifying organizations to partner with, job boards, conferences and/or career fairs to build diverse pipelines.       

    Miscellaneous 20%

  • Conduct benchmarking & research into relevant areas, such as representation in medicare companies & tech companies as well as engagement survey external benchmarks.
  • Research & vet potential vendors alongside our D&I Specialist; request & track vendor contracts & payment completion.
  • Develop Clovers proposed annual D&I budget; track expense spend.
  • Partner with the Director, Organizational Health to set Clovers D&I strategic annual goals & KPIs.
  • Other potential projects might include:
    • Promote external visibility of Clovers D&I work through blogs on our website and/or LinkedIn.
