Peloton is looking for a driven, dynamic attorney with 6+ years experience in technology transactions to support & advise Pelotons corporate functions. You will be responsible for further developing Pelotons day-to-day commercial contracting processes while managing legal risk & negotiating & maintaining productive commercial relationships with Pelotons business partners.  The ideal candidate for this role will possess a thorough understanding of Pelotons multifaceted business, including its suppliers, partners, Members, & competitors, in order to support the achievement of our business objectives.

*This role can be based in Plano, TX OR New York, NY*


  • Negotiate & manage a wide variety of commercial contracts, with an emphasis on supporting Pelotons enterprise information technology, Member engagement, & finance IT functions, & assist with follow-on implementation projects as needed
  • Develop & refine a suite of commercial agreement templates to drive teamwide efficiencies, & help to implement related processes such as contracting playbooks & contract-lifecycle management (CLM) platform processes
  • Advise business teams on legal issues, opportunities & risks, complex agreement structures, approval processes related to the procurement of technology & services for the broader organization
  • Demonstrate a keen ability to issue-spot sensitive legal & business concerns, including a strong sense of when to escalate (and not escalate) such matters to internal partners


  • 6+ years experience at a top law firm or in-house practice focusing on technology transactions, with at least 3 years of in-house practice preferred
  • Competency in drafting & negotiating commercial contracts; strong working background in enterprise software/SaaS agreements, global services agreements, & transportation/logistics agreements is strongly preferred
  • Team-oriented consensus builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, with management experience as a plus
  • Excellent written & verbal communication & interpersonal skills, 
  • Strong business acumen & ability to advise on business-related legal issues
  • Must be able to work independently & remotely with Peloton team members throughout the U.S. & globally
  • Must be an independent & strategic thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) & willing to take on additional responsibilities
  • Superb organizational skills & ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, disruptive business
  • Member in good standing of the NY or comparable State Bar
