THE POSITION

FanDuel Group is looking for a Manager to join its Strategy & Partnerships Team, who will be responsible for building, evaluating & managing partnership opportunities with key clients in the sports & media industries. The Manager will assist with the analysis of M&A, investment & other strategic opportunities for FanDuel Group. In addition, the Manager will work cross-functionally with other teams at the company, serving as quarterback to execute on opportunities that will drive key company objectives & business growth.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Identify, analyze & maintain strategic partnership opportunities with professional sports leagues, teams & media organizations
  • Staying up-to-date on partnership landscape & competitive activations
  • Representing FanDuel with 3rd party partners & fielding incoming partnership inquiries
  • Assisting with the evaluation of M&A, investment & other strategic opportunities, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation & presentations
  • Reviewing & providing comments on key legal agreements
  • Working directly with key executives & partnering with other internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Commercial, Product) to evaluate opportunities & develop corporate strategy
  • Developing & presenting key findings to FanDuel management

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate 

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, investment banking or management consulting 
  • Experience in the sports or media industry preferred
  • Strong financial modeling & presentation skill set
  • Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint required
  • Facility reading & understanding contracts
  • Experience communicating & presenting to internal & external partners
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally & externally
  • Strategic & creative thinker with strong analytical skills who can dissect complex issues & make thoughtful recommendations & action plans
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Results orientated & performance driven
