As the Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will manage Convenes compensation & benefit program, from helping to define Convenes overall strategy, to administering programs & answering employee questions. You will partner closely with the entire People & Culture team, as well as Finance, & Legal to ensure our offerings continue to attract, retain, & motivate our employees. The successful candidate should love all things comp & benefits & consistently strive to create a total rewards program that is cutting-edge & aligns with the needs of all employees.

What Youll Do:

  • Own & manage Convenes compensation & benefit programs
  • Assist in implementing a global compensation framework, including defining market rates for each position & bonus/commissions structures, to ensure that compensation is both internally consistent & externally competitive
  • Drive annual salary planning & benchmarking
  • Provide employee benefit support & manage benefit related initiatives including the open enrollment processes & 401(k) administration
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees, brokers, vendors & partners on all benefit & wellness offerings
  • Provide regular training on Covnenes benefit program & total rewards strategy to educate our employees
  • Measure success of Convenes compensation & benefit programs by creating metrics & reporting to show utilization & ROI
  • Consistently seek to introduce innovative approaches to creating efficiency & automation around manual administrative tasks

What We Look For:

  • Meaningful experience as a compensation & benefits manager in a high-growth or start-up environment
  • You have knowledge & experience with US labor law, tax & compliance as well as all federal & state regulations, filing & compliance requirements, including COBRA, FMLA, & DOL/FLSA requirements. (Knowledge of international labor laws a plus)
  • You are detail oriented, deadline driven & work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy
  • You have strong analytical & quantitative skills & the ability to communicate clearly & concisely in oral & written form across teams
  • You have the ability to comfortably interact with employees of all levels of experience & seniority, across the organization & uses diplomacy & discretion when dealing with sensitive employee compensation & benefit matters
  • You thrive in a growth company environment where you are given freedom to take ownership, & you adjust quickly to changing priorities & conditions
