The Role

BuzzFeeds Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DI&B) team is looking for a new team member to help us continue to advance our Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging function.  The main focus of the Manager, DI&B is to lead & support BuzzFeeds Employee Resource Groups as well as design & facility learning opportunities for employees in the form of training sessions, panel events, social events, etc.. This role will be great for anyone who has a strong interest in helping employees develop the skills they need to reach their career goals AND helping organizations become a place where employees can bring their authentic selves to work. 

The Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Manager will report to the Sr. Director, People Development, Diversity & Culture.

You Will

• Support Employee Resource Groups & their leaders with event planning, vendor management, leadership selection, etc.
• Design & facilitate diversity training sessions (example: unconscious bias, anti-racism, gender identity, allyship, etc.)
• Measure & communicate the effectiveness of diversity programs
• Design diversity programs (discussion groups, speaker series, etc.) for heritage months
• Lead & support learning programs & monthly programming as needed (instructor-led & online)
• Create diversity reports that will be shared with BuzzFeed leaders 
• Draft diversity-related communications
• Help plan cohort-based leadership diversity programs

You Have

• Experience leading diversity & inclusion programs
• Experience facilitating in-person & virtual training sessions
• Experience planning events (small or large)
• Experience managing projects and/or programs (especially development programs)
• Experience communicating & collaborating with employees & leaders at all levels
