Hi, we're Oscar. Were hiring a Senior Learning Partner to join our L&D team in our Tempe, AZ office.

About the role:

The L&D team at Oscar is responsible for the professional development of employees through a broad performance management process that includes a variety of supporting learning experiences. We provide & consult on functional training, skill-building, leadership development, & process improvement. We are a collaborative & passionate team who always find ways to get things done.

Serving as a Senior L&D Learning Partner, youll be responsible for building, implementing, & maintaining developmental courses & programs that serve the needs of the business. Youll need to prioritize the right work for the right time & understand the readiness & abilities of the business units you support, & help them to embrace innovative learning solutions. You will utilize stellar consulting skills to influence leaders regarding how they support their teams growth & development. 

You will report into the Director of Learning & Development.


  • Manage multiple, simultaneous projects/programs effectively & efficiently, including programs run by vendors/partners

  • Act as a strong thought leader for your partners & clients wherever learning is concerned, especially in supporting their own ability to learn on-the-job & from their own expertise 

  • Partner with L&D colleagues & People Strategy partners to customize & implement learning & development strategies, including eLearning development

  • Build very strong relationships with our employees, managers, & leaders as a way to get to know how to best meet their needs

  • Provide 1:1 coaching to managers & leaders, especially as it relates to their needs & the needs of their teams to learn & grow

  • Consult with other internal partners to share best practices & ensure continuity across multiple programs & teams

  • Build & execute on programs with minimal direction from stakeholders/supervisors

  • Create a compelling vision & gain broad buy-in for innovative programs

  • Forecast future needs & impacts for the business units you support

  • Lead cross-functional work streams to enhance the scope & value of L&D

  • Lead & manage program audits & updates as needed

  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards & trends


  • Subject matter expertise in project management, program management, & eLearning design & development

  • Minimum of 10 years in the L&D field

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in facilitation & instructional design

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with change management in mid-sized organizations

  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)

  • Proficiency with as a project management tool

  • Healthcare background
