Senior Manager, Video Merchandising - NYC, Boston, or Remote in US

Were looking for

A Sr Manager, Video Merchandising who will be responsible for driving video related initiatives such as live stream shopping, product reviews/tutorials & beyond to create engaging shopping moments while driving new digital innovation. You will develop the live stream video strategy, execute, communicate, & manage all things video. You will be in front of the camera at times, in addition to being responsible for the end-to-end execution. You are a builder, intellectually curious, creative, entrepreneurial, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in strategic thinking & have a deep experience leading through influence.

What Youll Do:

  • Partner with VP Merchandising on developing the strategy of video initiatives across both digital & store channels
  • Execute strategy to deliver on key KPIS set forth, ensuring there is a stable supply of Live-focused content on Shop PO
  • Travel within the US & potentially globally to facilitate live streaming from store or other retail locations with Brands & various other partners
  • Partner with several cross functional teams: Brand Partnerships, Brand Management, Marketing, Operations, Product & Engineering to ensure video initiative needs are met from marketing strategies, site experience, brand operations etc.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to analyze campaign KPIs & develop strategies based on performance
  • Test & learn various video formats i.e. live shopping, tutorials, product reviews, Brand Interviews, Shopper Q&A
  • Lead 360 campaign planning & present strategy to key stakeholders
  • Manage initiatives budget & ensure projects are occurring within budget guidelines

Plus, the Merchandising Team interacts daily with many key departments, so you will have consistent exposure to all aspects of the SPO business & will work directly with many of our awesome teams including Merchandising, Marketing, Product & Businesses Development, & you'll have exposure to the Senior Management team as well.

    • 5+ years experience of content creator management; a mixed experience in both brand/merchant & creator agency side is highly preferred
    • Self-starter, visionary & one that has brought special initiatives to life in the ecommerce space
    • Well versed in all social platforms & regularly engages in platforms. Experience in live video/streaming production environment is a plus
    • Excellent leadership, facilitation, & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines & at many levels
    • Ability to think creatively, strategically, & technically
    • Passion for product & a love of retail
