THE POSITION

We are currently looking for an experienced Media & Demand Generation Manager to drive significant revenue growth through the management of our local & national Audio program including terrestrial, satellite, podcasting & digital streaming & on-demand platforms. You will be responsible for managing, scaling & optimizing your program to achieve revenue growth, the customer base & improve brand health metrics. You will use analytics to help inform decisions & drive execution to optimize a significant marketing budget against marketing performance goals.

The ideal candidate will know how to build & scale complex marketing campaigns across a fast-past & dynamic marketplace & has demonstrated experience working at or managing an agency & working in a matrix environment.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead the strategy, execution & optimization of the Audio programs within the Media & Demand Generation team, both terrestrial & digital national & local based campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day relationship w/ key external agency partners & media vendors to ensure relationships are strong, channels/business objectives are achieved & deliverables are consistently met w/ utmost quality & accuracy
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting & KPI development for respective programs
  • Work cross-functionally with members of the organization across the Marketing organization to build & manage a best in class Media & Marketing practice, including but not limited to, growth, analytics, creative, partnerships, & product operations
  • Create & present insightful & actionable content for various meetings with larger stakeholder groups
  • Develop creative briefs & ensure timely & relevant distribution of creative assets/copy
  • Enhance competitive reporting & derive key actionable insights
  • Responsible for successful management of program KPIs & on-going validation of performance
  • Foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation & creativity internally & within external key external agency partners
  • Make thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders to improve the performance of respective programs
  • Support team & league partnerships
  • Drive on-going assessment of FanDuel Group's media proficiencies, identify areas for improvement & prioritize the test & learn roadmap
  • On-going reporting, analysis, evaluation optimization & recommendations
  • Coordinate budgeting, invoicing, reconciliations & partner authorizations (IOs, ATBs, project statements, etc.)
  • Mentor and/or manage junior members of the team to foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation & creativity

THE STATS

What were looking for in our next teammate

  • 5+ years of experience managing respective channels, with emphasize on audio media, terrestrial & digital preferred
  • Experience managing digital podcasts campaigns is a positive but not required
  • 1+ years of experience in managing or mentoring people preferred
  • A bachelor's degree with strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at either an agency or on the operator side
  • Experience managing an agency or leading a client account at an agency is preferred
  • Meaningful experience working with performance marketing & media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) & understanding of the utilization & relationship between them
  • Analytical mind with a strong understanding of underlying data & methodologies used to inform decision making & drive performance management
  • Strong knowledge of the marketing landscape
  • Experience negotiating favorable rates & deal structures with advertising partners, with an ability to make quick, confident decisions
  • Strong understanding of marketing testing & reporting methodology
  • Ability to succinctly communicate both verbally & in writing, & provide clear direction on projects
  • Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams & ability to build strong relationships internally & externally
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, & ability to multi-task & prioritize
  • Knowledge or understanding of the business & culture of sports & gaming preferred
  • Experience working across multiple businesses within a larger corporate structure is preferred
