This position is based out of the Greater Boston or New York City area, & is a flexible work environment.

Were looking for a fellow traveler to join the Tripadvisor Consumer Marketing Team as the Senior Social Media Specialist.

What you'll do: You'll engage with travelers, managing Tripadvisors organic social media channels, inspiring that next trip & helping folks with the type of guidance you can only find on Tripadvisor. On any given day you might...

  • Discover travel guidance content anywhere travelers are sharing insights, then remix that content for new contexts & platforms;

  • Communicate the joy of travel & planning through engaging social posts, optimizing creative, copy, titles, & publish times per platform for optimal performance;

  • Develop & contribute to innovative social concepts in collaboration with Tripadvisor's creative team;

  • Manage Tripadvisors social media accounts & calendar;

  • Dig into reporting to discover insights that will drive future success.

Who you are: You're online & a maker who believes really cool things happen when people share & enter into genuine conversations. You'll have...

  • 3-5 years of experience working in social media, audience engagement and/or community management for a brand or publisher;

  • Editorial judgment, writing skills, & grasp of social voice that are outstanding & demonstrable;

  • Content development skills & an understanding of what makes social content succeed;

  • Passion for digital communities, & the webs potential to empower;

  • Social platform expertise & continuing curiosity in how community, communication, & creation are evolving online;

  • Organizational & problem-solving skills that are superlative;

  • Excellent communication skills;

  • Basic image & video editing literacy (think TikTok, not a major motion picture) & a basic knowledge of Adobe CS;

  • Comfort with ambiguity, & a DIY bent.
