THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it 

FanDuel is looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to join our team in New York.  The candidate will possess a combination of technical, problem solving & communication skills who thrives in a rapidly changing environment.  The candidate will oversee the contract interpretation, reporting & financial analysis for our growing Sportsbook business & will serve as a cross-functional business partner for a variety of internal / external stakeholders.  The position will report into the Finance Director, Business Partnering.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Integrate the finance business partner team through the entire workflow of the retail sportsbook business supporting all internal & external stakeholders as the first point of contact
  • Develop strong relationships with our external market-access partners ensuring collaborative communications & proactive support
  • Act as a business partner & intermediary between key stakeholders & across the FP&A & Accounting teams
  • Provide financial decision support (budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, identification of cost drivers) to ensure optimal achievement of targets
  • Evaluate, interpret, & summarize agreements with industry stakeholders to determine appropriate performance indicators, financial impacts & reporting requirements
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual business results, KPIs, trends, & critical business insights for various stakeholders across the organization
  • Establish accurate reporting, analysis & controls for Capital Expenditures
  • Conduct competitive analysis of retail space & maintain marketplace awareness
  • Improve operational efficiency by streamlining processes & enhance reporting as necessary

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate  

  • Minimum 5 years of experience (preferably a mix of Accounting & Financial Analysis)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field
  • Ability to distill financial data into clear & concise insights
  • Exceptional financial, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational, communication & relationship building skills
  • Ability to think creatively & see the big picture while maintaining a laser-focused attention
  • High level of energy & the desire to work in a super-charged industry
  • Exceptional Excel skills, comfortable dealing with large data volume
  • Experience in sports, gambling or entertainment a plus!
