ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking a Director to oversee & transform our Reverse Logistics & Refurbishment network. This leadership role will be responsible for Pelotons processing of returned products, refurbishment strategy, processes, SOPs, programs, & network. In this role, you will be a key contributor on our leadership team in developing & executing the strategies to drive an efficient but very member focused experience. This leader will develop recommendations & improvement opportunities through the use of continuous improvement tools & techniques as well as using knowledge & expertise of refurbishment, warehousing & transportation.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON 

  • Develop & lead a Reverse & Refurbishment strategy to meet Pelotons business objectives for Member experience & cost objectives.
  • Oversee the management of all global refurbishment centers and/or vendors.
  • Develop & implement the strategy for inventory care & accuracy of all refurbished CFUs from ingress to outgress of units at distribution points.
  • Establish department goals & organize workforce to accomplish results within budget & on schedule. 
  • Build financially sound, executable, data-driven business strategies & solutions, to create & improve operating performance. 
  • Responsible for managing external relationships & effectively communicating with third party service providers on all aspects of the program to include program execution, IT interface, customer service, risk management & growth. 
  • Be the company expert for industry trends, technology & macros, tailwinds, headwinds & competitive positioning.
  • Build a top performing operational team & instill a culture of accountability, results & flexibility in order to meet/exceed customer fulfillment expectations. 
  • Assure compliance with all safety, health & environmental regulations related to returned product & refurbishment.
  • Expected Travel <33%

YOU BRING TO PELOTON 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent level of work experience listed below
  • 5+ years of experience leading direct reports in reverse logistics, appliance and/or device refurbishment & direct to consumer operations.
  • 5+ years experience working with, leading & developing 3rd party relationships to support refurbishment programs.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, & continuously improve the member experience as well as reduce costs.  
  • Ability to benchmark & define KPIs, & metrics pertinent to the role.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to build strong relationships & influence/negotiate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills coupled with demonstrated ability to be hands-on & tactical. 
  • Demonstrated skills in solving complex problems within supply chain, & refurbishment management.
  • You have built & implemented a detail-oriented organizational & process management process within a supply chain organization to manage a wide range of responsibilities.
  • You encompass sharp business judgment with the ability to see the "big picture" while managing change & ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
