Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a FP&A Associate to join our Finance team.

About the role

You will join our tight-knit finance team & work directly with one of our FP&A Managers & Head of FP&A. You will oversee pieces of our financial planning & analysis work that enables our creative model to succeed as we grow. We value technology, so this can become a powerful part of your tool kit.

You will report to the FP&A, Senior Manager. This is a hybrid role, & you will work part of the time in the New York City office & part of the time working remotely.


  • Lead efforts to work with each department to provide expense trends & analyze main reasons for costs.
  • Drive requirements & implementation for financial planning & business intelligence systems (Essbase, Workforce Planning, Periscope).
  • Prepare monthly budget versus actual fluctuation analyses for both management & board.
  • Support the business groups in managing spending budgets, including monthly budget vs. actual analysis, headcount reporting, expense forecast updates, annual planning, & special projects.
  • Create reports to measure results against expectations.
  • Support essential decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g. departmental P&Ls, magnitude & timing of infrastructure investment).


  • 2+ years of finance experience. Preference for FMP, FP&A or Accounting experience.
  • Data-driven
  • Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) & PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree.

Bonus points

  • Build complex models in Excel & implementation of planning applications
  • Improvement to current processes
