About the Role

Were looking for an HR Business Partner to join our People Team & will support the day-to-day needs of our Institutional organization. As an HRBP you will impact the growth of our business utilizing your expertise within talent management strategy, performance management, career development, employee relations, & workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor for the team on internal policies, career guidance, performance management, & complex employee relations challenges
• Manage the performance & compensation review process to ensure consistent & fair decisions are made with regard to promotion, bonus & salary increases 
• Develop proactive strategies to help employees perform to their highest potential & support managers in their efforts to coach & counsel their teams
• Work in close partnership with our talent team to develop & implement internal diversity & inclusion initiatives
• Continually optimize & educate the team about performance management processes, & provide advisory support to managers to help them to effectively deliver feedback
• Handle employee relations escalations in partnership with legal
• Develop proactive strategies to help employees perform to their highest potential & support managers in their efforts to coach & counsel their teams
• Build relationships with employees at all levels; drive efforts to ensure that new hires are successfully integrated into the team

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience, start-up & later-stage experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills & ability to coach, influence, & partner with various levels of employees, particularly at the leadership level
• Strong competency within the HR function: succession planning, org design, coaching, recognition programs, talent management, communications, & change management
• Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform & prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
• Creative, proactive thinker who loves to learn, actively seeks solutions, & identifies process improvements
• Experience managing others, taking pride in supporting teammates while developing their careers
• Experience with ER issues & investigations
• Fluent in & passionate about diversity, equity, & inclusion initiatives & best practices
