About the Role

As a Merchandise Assistant at Stitch Fix UK, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandising team in growing the total apparel & accessories businesses. You will assist in managing inventory & assortment shape based on client feedback & preferences to deliver financial goals & business strategies. You will report to one of our Junior Merchandisers & have exposure to our Director of Merchandising/Buying as well as other senior-level members of our team. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starting, sharply analytical problem-solver with strong communication skills & the ability to adapt to the unique Stitch Fix business model. You will be based out of our UK headquarters in London, initially working from home.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will

  • Support Assistant Merchandiser in producing weekly merchandising reports of key business performance metrics & highlighting key findings to the team
  • Partner with brands & suppliers to ensure deliveries are on time & effectively communicate changes to Buying & Merchandising teams
  • Work in partnership with the Warehouse & Operations team to ensure efficient processing of all deliveries
  • Work closely with counterpart(s) on the Buying team to successfully support the team in strategic stock flow & critical path management
  • Partner with Merchandising team on building new reports, merchandise analytics, processes & best practices
  • Support Assistant Merchandiser to update weekly stock commitment within Open to Buy (OTB) model & Rolling Operational Forecast (WSSI)
  • Analyse Size Selling & work with Assistant Merchandiser to identify opportunities & manage intake size curves accounting for brand & dept nuances
  • Analyse current sales trends to identify risks & opportunities & partner with Merchandiser to develop action plans that will achieve department goals
  • Prepare reporting & analysis for development of pre-season strategy with Merchandising & Buying team
  • Build cross-functional collaboration with Operations team & external vendor partners
