We're looking for innovative leaders to help grow the Applied Machine Learning (AML) team at Yelp & lead high impact use cases for machine learning, statistical modeling, & causal inference. You'll work in lock step with our product team & other engineering teams to ensure intelligence & data products get out the door quickly, while also identifying promising longer-term investments. Yelp has hundreds of millions of pieces of user-contributed content, millions of users & business listings, & hundreds of thousands of advertising customers - & these are constantly growing. Making sense of all this data, deducing relationships between variables, & figuring out different interactions is challenging work, all of which lead to insights that are hugely impactful to Yelp's business. AML realizes this value by actively working on both engineering practical machine learning systems at scale as well as pursuing exploratory forays into new signals, metrics, & research if the opportunity is right.
