As Compass continues to experience massive growth, we are looking for the best & brightest to drive strategic business decisions. As a Business Analyst, Strategy & Planning, you will report directly to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Planning.  You will provide strategic direction & execution support to senior management in our regions, including designing operational strategies, developing a data based view of the business, identifying & executing high impact business priorities, & other key regional projects.  Our ideal candidate enjoys developing a deep understanding of business processes & operating models, & can figure out how to map those to technical solutions while working alongside key stakeholders. You should be a self-directed problem solver & be able to adjust to a fast-paced & constantly changing environment.

At Compass You Will:

  • Establish a deep understanding of the business & leverage data to build insights about our markets, customers, financial performance & operations
  • Collaborate with teams across Operations, Finance & Accounting, among others, to define detailed business strategies & implementation plans to roll-out in our markets 
  • Build Customer-Centric strategies that provide customer insights & positively influence market growth & financial results
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership to execute company-wide strategic plans including, but not limited to: Pricing, Financial Performance, & Growth
  • Analyze regional operations & partner directly with Regional Presidents to develop & implement future operations strategy 
  • Oversee data validation & reconciliation to ensure completeness & accuracy of data & reporting
  • Oversee the development of business processes, documentation & training materials

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science
  • Strong knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Positive attitude & solutions-oriented approach. Ability & desire to be hands on in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • Humble team player who understands the importance of the role as a key support partner to the operating team
  • Excellent organizational, verbal & written communication skills
  • Systems aptitude & process mapping skills strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel modeling skills
  • Proactive individual seeking additional responsibility at all times
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
