Conductors conference, C3, is a 3 day industry-leading conference that plays a vital part in Conductors overall marketing strategy, bringing together senior marketers from across the search, content, & digital marketing industry. The event features an agenda packed full of both practical case studies & high-level strategic thinking from leading marketing experts at global brands. It also features an unrivaled experience for attendees who come year after year to learn & experience a conference buzz like no other.

The Corporate Events Manager will define, lead & manage the C3 strategy for Conductor to enhance customer relationships, attract new prospects, & position Conductor at the heart of the industry. Youll be responsible for the overall strategy & execution of the event, working with key stakeholders across the company & other C3 leaders to ensure it meets the needs of the sales & customer teams. Were looking for someone to help take C3 to the next level & wow our customers & community even more.

Key responsibilities

  • Project manage event from strategy to execution, taking overall responsibility for defining, tracking, & hitting event KPIs
  • Manage key stakeholders & ensure buy-in across main functions of the company (sales, product, engineering, customer success, pro services, C-suite)
  • Work with our head of Brand & Comms to create an industry leading agenda with high-quality speakers from across the industry to attract attendees
  • Budget management - set & control the C3 budgets ensuring the event maintains healthy revenue & spends where necessary to enhance the experience
  • Develop & lead the external promotional campaign strategy for the event making use of all available channels, & working with the wider marketing team to help with execution.
  • Put together internal promotion strategy working with sales & customer teams to sell tickets to customers & prospects. Own internal communications & maintain company momentum around event
  • Collaborate with product & customer teams for the Customer Advisory Boards to select members & manage the overall structure & experience
  • Partner with other C3 leads to drive messaging & theme of the conference branding
  • Liaise with partnership team & create unique sponsorship packages to attract key sponsors & hit revenue targets
  • Work with engineering team to form an experience around the Innovation Lab, ensuring Conductor Searchlight is featured in the partner ecosystem
  • Contribute to overall experience of C3 working closely with the team to ensure C3 runs smoothly & continues its excellent industry reputation
  • Establish a year round C3 community, providing value throughout the year through other campaigns. Look into ways to continue the momentum adding vital touch points for Conductor to engage with the search, content marketing & digital marketing community
  • Spearhead the strategy & execution for any ancillary C3 events, such as roadshows or C3 EMEA

Desired Skills

  • BA/BS in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years experience in marketing and/or events
  • Experience working in marketing and/or operations for large conferences (preferably working on a vendor conference but not essential)
  • Experience leading & executing promotional campaigns for events
  • Experience with email strategy & copywriting
  • Data-driven marketer with strong budgeting & reporting skills
  • Strong communication & writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork skills & ability to engage key stakeholders
  • Passion for thinking outside the box & creativity
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced & dynamic work environment
