BlaBlaCar is launching a new business line that is set to fuel tremendous growth for the company.
As Central Booking System Team Manager you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the European bus market.
The Inventory Management System is the central tool used by all stakeholders of the bus business. This system manages Commercial Transport Plan, Pricing & Revenue Management, Bookings, Aftersales, Distribution Channels Connections, Passengers Management & various modules around these domains.
The Central Booking System Team Manager will lead the IMS strategy in this context of growth, with the challenge to develop advanced features & mechanisms that will support our business ambitions.
What you will be in charge of:
Maintain the system availability & quality in accordance to predefined SLAs & business needs;
Relationship & contract follow-up with the software editor, based abroad;
Communicate & negotiate with them in order to develop our partnership relationship & guarantee BlaBlaCar's interests;
Draw a new communication plan to insure to users the best experience;
Manage the change to insure a smooth go-live for each releases;
Manage projects of evolutions & new features in accordance with stakeholders;
Put in place robust & reliable processes to achieve the above, including System Setup & QA which are critical in this area;
Manage & develop a young & dynamics 4 people team;
Participate in the definition of the overall Pro services roadmap & ensure the successful execution of the parts that rely on the IMS;
Explore & benchmark other IMS solution, & propose technical or functional projects to bring assets to the business.
What you will need to be successful:
7+ years of professional experience
Prior experience in owning supplier relationships
Prior experience in software implementation or migration
A first experience in resources management
Experience in transportation is a strong plus
Enjoy working as a team-player & learning from others
Certified in Agile methodology
Strong analytical skills, pro-active, & sense of business priorities
Source of evolution proposals
Fluent in English
