Acutely aware of the owned & earned media environment in Japan ranging from traditional news to Twitter & Yahoo, the ideal candidate will have great sensibilities & experience in leading creative & strategic initiatives to create meaning for the Netflix consumer & create cultural phenomena around our brand & titles in the owned & earned landscape.
Our aim is to entertain & engage by innovating in the digital editorial space with smart strategy & great content & production to build a robust & trustworthy presence in local entertainment & pop culture conversations. You will be responsible for leading the Editorial & Publishing strategy for Japan, balancing between driving the local brand strategy & editorial roadmap as well as managing a team of external strategists, writers & creatives on both short & long lead projects.
