FanDuel is looking for a Manager to join the Strategy & Operations team. The Strategy & Operations group serves as a partner & advisor to the Executive team & works on critical strategic initiatives & opportunities facing the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small group with significant exposure across the FanDuel Group business, as well as to the broader global company (Flutter Group).

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead analysis & recommendations on new initiatives. Serve as a business owner & project manager to drive new initiatives forward from ideation to launch, which will often result in handoff to a department lead
  • Collaborate with FanDuel Group department leads to drive cross-functional collaboration & implement operational process improvements
  • Liaise with global partners in UK&I, Australia, & beyond to identify opportunities to leverage best practices & drive operational efficiencies across the global group
  • Partner with Strategy & Operations Vice President & Executive team to identify & evaluate new strategic initiatives & opportunities
  • Example projects could include:
    • Evaluating new opportunities: Market sizing, evaluating competitive landscape, building business cases
    • Assisting departments with scaling: Forecasting demand, developing location strategy, identifying new vendors, identifying opportunities for automation
    • Coordinating tech migrations across the company: Supporting teams with developing new operational workflows & identifying hiring/training needs
    • Developing & implementing operational procedures & processes to support the company as we scale, such as business continuity planning


What were looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 3+ years in management / strategy consulting preferred; alternately 5 years of relevant business / commercial experience
  • Strong knowledge of business & financial concepts
  • Quick learner; willing to dive in & get their hands dirty
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently evaluate an opportunity, conduct analysis, & make strategic recommendations
  • Experience independently conducting quantitative & qualitative analysis, including creating complex Excel models & leading market research
  • Strong organizational & project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication skills; skilled at influencing & building relationships across the organization at all levels, including with senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel skills required; SQL knowledge a plus
  • Passion for FanDuel & the gaming industry preferred
