About the Role
The Senior Director of Strategic Commercial Operations, & Customer Success will engage the Business Development team to lead optimization of top-line revenue & profit margin goals. Customer success & new sales operations that efficiently meet our commercial objectives are vital to our long-term growth & profitability. We will not be successful unless our customers are receiving excess value from our service & new customers across segments continue to purchase & grow.

This role includes responsibilities for optimizing FiscalNote's net retention & new sales through analytical rigor, a practical understanding of go-to-market operations in a recurring revenue business, technology to enable customer success & new sales, & financial acumen to impact our financial KPIs such as Top-line ARR, CAC, Cost to Serve, & Lifetime Value of our customer relationships. 

This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, & serve as a member of the Business Development Management Team -  ensuring excellence in company-wide commercial growth strategy & operational efficiency in its execution.

The role will have reporting to them the Revenue Operations team & Customer Support teams. Success in this role will involve both strong individual execution in terms of analysis, Go-to-market proposals & implementation, as well as inspiring the team to produce the desired commercial outcomes.

Lastly, success in this role involves building strong relationships with other leaders in the Business Development department & across the company in order to collaboratively develop the right analyses, strategies & processes that successfully support those business leaders & their teams' desired commercial results.
