We would also like to reiterate our RSVP policy: If you are on the waitlist & we think the event venue will be at or close to capacity you will have to wait until 6:45 before we allow you into the room. Google recently announced the Developer Preview for Android Things, a comprehensive way to build IoT products with the power & security of Android. This talk will show how developers can use familiar tools such as Android Studio & the Android SDK to easily develop IoT software, & then to scale the hardware from a single prototype into production.

is a Developer Advocate at Google, focusing on the Internet of Things & the Google Assistant. He has worked for 15 years in academia & industry in the areas of wearable computing, outdoor augmented reality, & mobile devices. He works to get developers excited about new Google technologies, through conferences, social media, & training materials.
