The People's Film Festival Celebrates the Power of the Media when Placed In The Hands of THE PEOPLE
The Peoples Film Festival (TPFF) is a 4-Day annual film festival designed to showcase the best in independent films from around the world.The festival features screenings from emerging producers, videographers, & filmmakers from all over the world, reflecting both traditional & avant-garde style films, with an emphasis on films that integrate multiple digital platforms using today's new media & technology.
TPFF is an initiative of The People's Media, Music & Arts Foundation (TPMMAF)- a non-profit organization whose objective is to promote awareness in independent film, media, music, & art across the globe while encouraging those-particularly in the Harlem New York area, to develop a greater appreciation & understanding for cultural diversity in film. It was founded in 2012 as The Voice of The People- essentially the place to tell your story your way & have a true impact on that audience.
The People's Film Festival, is held in Harlem, NY-which is known for its rich vibrant culture, historic landmarks, great music, literature, arts & entertainment-also collectively known as The Harlem Renaissance. TPFF's synergistic atmosphere is what makes filmmakers & filmgoers alike come comeback year after year to actively share information, break bread & build relationships. The People's Film Festival is the place where everyone has a chance at greatness.
