Bay Area Girl Geek Dinner #145 is dedicated to media training girl geeks on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at First Round Capitals office in San Francisco!

Whether youre pitching your new startup idea, or giving an interview on behalf of your company or non-profit, learn how to develop strong narratives & avoid tricky questions, so you can master your next press interview!

During the media training, participants will put together a media briefing document with key messages & customer examples. We will work with this throughout the session, reviewing questions reporters typically ask & talking about the best ways to give quotable soundbites that put you in the best light. Youll also have a chance to practice your newfound skills & get instant feedback during mock interviews.

You will leave this media training with a deep understanding of how to develop your story, communicate it clearly, & control even the toughest press interview. And these skills will come in handy well beyond press interviews use them when youre speaking on a panel, interviewing for a new job, or presenting to a team of executives or potential investors.
