WHAT: Bitcoin trade volume has surged in early 2015 and the currency continues to expand into new sectors. Yet many business owners and investors have limited, if any, understanding of the nascent technology. The New York State Bar Association's Annual Meeting features a panel of business and legal experts who will provide a basic survival guide to understanding and using bitcoin. The session will explore the concept of open sourced digital currency, provide a legal and regulatory overview and offer advice on minimizing risk.
