EVENT DETAILS China Gathering VIP Opening Reception is an annual party organized by China Gathering at SXSW. This year, we are honored to jointly present the reception with Chengdu Municipal People's Government. At the reception, we will serve delicious Texan food and authentic Sichuan cuisine, presented by chefs from Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan and the city known for gastronomy. Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremonies will be performed and important speeches will be given by leaders from different fields. Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres will be provided.
