Our panel of experts will help you become equity smart by sharing the fundamentals of a successful startup equity & compensation model. They'll discuss founder's stock & how to split it with co-founders, how to avoid the common pitfalls startups make, & guide questions on all of the technicalities.



They will also share how to adjust & manage your equity model as your startup grows & gets more funding - and, what all of this means if you're acquired or IPO.

Lyman has represented startups from incorporation to exit, & has guided a broad range of stakeholders, including high-growth companies, venture capital firms, other institutional investors, & strategic investors, through over $1 billion of dollars invested in venture financing transactions.


Lyman previously worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California. Prior to becoming a startup lawyer in Silicon Valley, Lyman worked in the renewable energy industry in Houston, Texas.
