About our Guest Alumni
Alexandra Fox is a data analyst at PAX Labs. She is an autodidacting jack-of-all-trades, occupying the space between people-person & computer nerd. Before Metis, she worked as a software engineer at startups in the SaaS & publishing spaces. In addition to digging into previously-untapped data sources to produce novel scientific insights, Alex enjoys utilizing her technical data science skills to create generative art - including poetic works in the styles of historical literary figures such as Robert Frost & Oscar Wilde.
After earning his chemistry degree studied bioinformatics, Aaron Frederick worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) while supporting clinical cancer trials in their laboratories. He applied the tools he learned at NIH to his work at a SF startup (BioTrillion) & freelancing for college swim programs before coming to Metis. After Metis, Aaron hopes to continue applying his quantitative, analytic, & coding skills as a data scientist in the San Francisco tech sector.
