Emmy Sobieski, CFA, is the chief operating officer of Competitive Storytelling, which helps venture-backed founders from seed & beyond tell their story through methods such as the Founder Fundraising Program. Sobieski is also author of the book $100M Careers: The 5 Fastest Paths to Wealth Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, released in December 2022. She ran the Nicholas Applegate Global Technology Fund, the No. 1 fund in 1999, & has 25 years of experience as a professional technology investor working for funds of various sizes & strategies. In the past five years, she has taken on executive, co-founder, & advisory roles at multiple technology startups & hedge funds.
Sobieski has an MBA from the University of Southern California & a BA in economics from the University of California, San Diego. She was ninth in the 2005 U.S. World Cup Trials in Dressage, & has been nationally ranked in bodybuilding, track & field, & dressage. She has also placed in the top three for her age group in both marathons & ultramarathons.
