EVENT DETAILS Start your SXSW 2020 experience with a first look at Defense Innovation in Texas and an understanding of the impact we make through startups About this Event Join the Defense Innovation Unit and MassChallenge Texas for a private event on the rooftop of the SXSW building next to the Texas State Capitol to kick off your SXSW 2020 experience. Our event, the Leading Edge of Defense Innovation, will shine a light on the unprecedented collaboration and accomplishments of the Department of Defense's innovation ecosystem in Austin, and the ripple effect it's having across Texas. Guests of DIU, Army Futures Command, Air Force AFWERX, the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will have the opportunity to network with top investors, startups, corporates, government officials and other DoD partners. This event includes remarks from leaders in Austin's Defense Innovation community about their work to date and a look at the future of Defense Innovation in Texas, and beyond.
