EVENT DETAILS
This month, Autotech Council members open their doors to the public for a discussion on User Experience (UX). Join OEMs, suppliers, startups & VCs to discover innovation & opportunities in User Experience.

While the Autotech Council often discusses the future & autonomous cars, the present reality is one of humans-as-drivers with ADAS. But it would be a mistake to think the conventional car ownership & driving experience is standing still waiting for self-drivng cars & an all-car-sharing world - in fact, there is tremendous innovation occurring right now, shifting the automotive User Experience (UX).

UX is booming in the automotive industry. Because of:

advances in ADAS
our increasingly digital lives
our voice assistants
streaming content
safety systems
connected cars
range/fuel management
how our cars communicate with others, or V2x
new technologies
and even automobile purchasing, repairs & insurance
the way we interact with our cars & our car ownership is in rapid flux. This spells both opportunity & competition for automakers, keen to be quick to deploy the solutions that car owners want the most.

UX encompasses the User Interface & HMI, or how the people in the car interact with its systems

What information the car gives you, when, & how
What information the car takes from you, & how it uses it
Personalization & customization
Comfort, ergonomics
Design, look & feel
How you buy the car
How the car behaves when you're not in it
And, in aggregate, how we feel about our car
Our UX meeting will examine the changes in auto User Experience taking place today, & in the short & medium-terms. We will connect startups & solution vendors with working solutions with carmakers that can use the solutions to improve the owner's UX in the latest models. Join us to learn, see, & try some of the latest technology.
