Jim McCarthy
Founder, Jim McCarthy Leadership
Jim McCarthy is a motivational speaker & leadership consultant. He has over 19 years of executive & board-level experience at Silicon Valley start-ups. He became employee # 258 at Yahoo in 1997, & later worked at NexTag, BlueLithium, & Answers.com. Earlier in his career, Jim was an English teacher in Frankfurt, a business journalist in Madrid, & a McKinsey consultant in Munich. He received a BA in Political Science from the University of Iowa (Phi Beta Kappa), was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany, & earned his MBA from Stanford. He lives in San Francisco.
