Please join us for our 2024 Spring seminar series on "Entrepreneurship in Asian High-Tech Industries." Each year, this series surveys the most recent trends, patterns, & challenges of entrepreneurship in Asia & their relevance to Silicon Valley & the U.S. Guest speakers include entrepreneurs, investors & mentors, & other experts on the current entrepreneurial ecosystems of major Asia economies.
Guest speaker (in-person):
Dr. Kid Parchariyanon ignites innovation across Southeast Asia. As CEO of RISE, he helps 400+ giants & governments develop solutions that boost both GDP (1%) & sustainability (1% carbon reduction). RISE has birthed 2,000+ startups worth $2 billion.
He also fuels DeepTech breakthroughs as Managing Partner of SeaX Ventures, with unicorn investments like Solana & Band Protocol. Driven by tech's potential to solve global challenges, Dr. Kid's expertise spans from MD & Biomedical Informatics to Stanford GSB alumni, Gen.T List Honoree, Tatler Futurist, & Prestige 40 Under 40. He is a force for a better, bolder future. He is also the Managing Partner of SeaX Ventures, a US & SEA based, DeepTech VC fund that invests in exponential startups globally. In just three years, he has two unicorn portfolios: Solana & Band Protocol. SeaX has $80 million in assets under management. Dr. Kid is passionate about leveraging technology to solve the world's biggest challenges, especially in the fields of DeepTech & sustainability.
Dr. Kid holds an MS in Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University, an MD from Mahidol University, & Stanford GSB Executive Program Alumni. He is also a Gen.T List Honoree, Tatler's The Futurist, & Prestige's 40 Under 40.
Our seminars are being offered in a hybrid format & are open to the public in-person.
