The Role
As a Senior Cost Controlling BI Analyst, you will be an integral part of HelloFresh's mission to empower our business with financial insights, data-driven strategies, & processes that elevate the effectiveness of how we invest our resources. You will support the business in developing global solutions that harmonize our reporting across our geographies & analyze our spend in key areas. You will help produce the data assets that provide insights to help our leaders make key decisions.
What you will do:
- Develop & implement complex calculations globally that help support local & global teams report & manage costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Accounting, Finance Tech & key stakeholders in each area to enhance & automate reporting in relation to costs to meet the needs of senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with local stakeholders to ensure that local requirements & nuances are included in any central calculations.
- Support the cost controlling function in tracking their initiatives & efforts to reduce spend in key areas.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial controlling, FP&A, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment as well as a university degree.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL, & advanced Excel skill. Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams & present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, & manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
