As a Senior Software Engineer (Tools) on the Hextech Developer Experience team, you will bring technical knowledge & skills to the tools domain to develop & improve solutions to complex & diverse game development challenges. You will report to an Engineering Manager who will support you by providing connection, alignment, & mentoring to achieve player, Riot, & personal growth goals.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with & build game content tooling to support cross-disciplinary teams (including Game Designers, Artists, Animators, & Producers) 
• Define technical requirements, scope, & estimation of quarterly projects
• Build new features & tools in the Hextech Engine used by TFT & League of Legends
• Collaborate with engineering teammates & teams across the League studio
• Build features & offerings in a mature software environment with a focus on software quality & stability

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ yrs collective professional experience using C/C++
• 2+ yrs collective professional experience using Python
• Familiarity with building game content, tools, or pipelines
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or comparable field or equivalent experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with unit & integration testing of software
• Experience providing direct user support & troubleshooting
• Experience with game development
