We are looking for a Finance Business Partner (Marketing) to support the Benelux marketing budgeting process, from initial planning to analysis. Using your financial insights, data-driven strategies, & process improvements, you will help shape the marketing strategy for customer acquisition, retention, & reactivation efforts within the Benelux market. As part of the Benelux Finance team, you will report to the Team Lead Controlling & FP&A & gain insights into all business areas of HelloFresh.
This is how youll make an impact
- Partner with the marketing department to be their go-to finance expert.
- Own the quarterly local marketing & revenue budget submission process to our headquarters in Berlin.
- Conduct budget cycle analysis: identify trends, discrepancies, uncover opportunities, & escalate to appropriate stakeholders for action.
- Anticipate & prepare possible scenarios for marketing budget allocation.
- Build & maintain a clean & clear budgeting process to minimize budget variances by developing a deep understanding of marketing budget drivers.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Marketing teams to investigate budget discrepancies during month-end close.
- Prepare & analyze weekly/monthly revenue & spending reports, continuously improving the process.
- Execute ad-hoc projects as necessary.
These are the ingredients youll bring to the team
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an FP&A role, with experience in managing (marketing) budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, & a deep understanding of ROI-driven business strategies.
- A proper understanding of Accounting fundamentals
- A strong analytical mindset; you enjoy problem-solving & making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, & advanced Excel & SQL skills. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills: fluent in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with local & central teams & present financial insights to stakeholders at all levels, from Global C-suite to local operational level.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, & manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
