We are seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join a newly-formed team focused on developing advanced autonomous systems for use in area defense on the edge & in austere environments. This role involves building, integrating, & deploying state-of-the-art solutions that combine sensors, effectors, & intelligent decision-making systems to protect civilian & military installations from a variety of threats, including drone attacks.

As a part of this team, you will contribute directly to the development & deployment of autonomous systems that integrate sensors (radar, cameras, RF, & other modalities) with real-time response actuation through effectors such as kinetic & non-kinetic systems or drone swarms. You will work alongside other experts in sensing, artificial intelligence, & systems engineering to build & deliver solutions that redefine complex area defense scenarios in the real world.
