As a Producer, youll lead passionate cross-functional teams in crafting creative content & incredible experiences for players around the world. By encouraging teams to collaborate, youll drive development, smashing through obstacles & driving products into players hands. Youll exceed expectations by helping concept, deliver, improve, & influence creative projects at every stage of production.
As a Principal Producer on League of Legends, youll lead passionate, cross-functional teams focused on delivering high-impact features & systems that shape the player experience across the games front-end. Youll help evolve & maintain the foundational technology & user-facing interfaces that power League, ensuring they remain performant, cohesive, & player-focused.
This role is deeply embedded in the core of Leagues long-term health & evolution. Youll work closely with engineers, UX & UI designers, & product leads to improve tools, improve the client experience, & support new features on top of Leagues proprietary engine & tech stack. Youll report to the Director of Production for League of Legends.
Responsibilities:
- Own initiative-level production for UX, UI, & systems-focused development within Leagues game client & engine environment
- Partner with product, engineering, UX, UI, & design leads to define strategic goals & translate them into clear roadmaps & execution plans
- Help improve legacy technology while supporting feature teams with scalable workflows & stable front-end foundations
- Guide planning & prioritization across complex cross-team dependencies involving proprietary tools, tech, & player-facing surfaces
- Facilitate clear communication across disciplines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on scope, timelines, & deliverables
- Maintain & improve team operating cadencerunning rituals, tracking work, & ensuring the team is empowered to deliver
- Identify blockers early, resolve production risks, & champion sustainable development practices
- Drive quality tracking & accountability across both the backend systems & front-end interfaces players interact with
- Act as a mentor & coach to producers & team members across the initiative, helping scale production craft & team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of professional production experience, including leadership of cross-disciplinary teams
- Experience working on large-scale live games with ongoing content, systems, or front-end improvements
- Strong familiarity with UX/UI development lifecycles & best practices, particularly in games or real-time environments
- Proven ability to manage schedules, dependencies, & cross-functional collaboration, especially across proprietary engine tech
- Experience working closely with engineering & design to support both foundational systems & polished user experiences
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with custom or proprietary engines, & a clear understanding of the challenges of building tools & interfaces within them
- Understanding of the League of Legends player base, especially around pain points, usability, & the in-client experience
- Familiarity with production tools like JIRA, Confluence, & internally built pipeline tools.
- Strong communication & alignment skills across product, tech, & UX disciplines.
