Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. Were hiring a Supervisor to join our Integrated Behavioral Health Program.

About the role:

You will function as the clinical leader of & core member of a collaborative care team that involves the patients primary care provider, a psychiatric consultant (i.e. psych nurse practitioner) & a behavioral health coordinator (i.e non-licensed coach/case manager) in the primary care clinic.  You will focus on the integrating of the medical & behavioral healthcare for patients, clinical coordination, leading the development, implementation & ongoing monitoring of program & quality initiatives to address patient needs.  

You will report into the Senior Medical Director, Virtual Primary Care.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $73,600 - $96,600 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Program Design/Implementation
    • Work in consultation with Medical Director & Leadership Team in strategic direction & planning of program initiatives, including the expansion & scaling of an integrated behavioral health program utilizing licensed & non-licensed staff aligned with the evidence-based AIMS / Collaborative Care model
    • Develop business processes to coordinate behavioral health care between PCPs & referral services
    • Serve as the key resource regarding any issues related to integration in primary care setting & operational issues
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in designing & optimizing workflows.
    • Lead & develop best practices for Behavioral Health in a virtual primary care setting
    • Possess proficient knowledge of the Behavioral Health contract requirements & coordinate with Oscar Management Corporation to implement the protocols, in adherence with regulatory & compliance requirements
  • Clinical Supervision & Oversight:
    • Lead the hiring & training of Behavioral Health Coordinators, LCSW & Behavioral Therapists
    • Provide weekly clinical supervision & consultation on-demand for the Behavioral Coordinator, including but not limited to clinical skills for patient engagement, follow-up care, relapse prevention, & aftercare
    • Manage & oversee the professional & clinical development of the behavioral health clinical team, including licensed & non-licensed BH staff
  • Direct Patient Care
    • Delivers direct care to a subset of patients enrolled in the integrated behavioral health program
    • Maintain a patient panel composed of the more clinically complicated patients enrolled in the program.
    • Coordinate mental health care with primary care providers and, when appropriate, other treating mental health providers.  

Requirements:

  • One of the following education degree & licensure with 3+ years work experience in primary care:
    • Social work (LCSW)
    • Psychology (PhD, PsyD)
    • Counseling (LMFT, MHC)
    • Psychiatric Nursing (RN)
  • 3+ years of experience in program management or project/workflow development.  
  • Must be licensed in Georgia
  • 3+ years of experience in leading & developing behavioral health teams in an ambulatory setting, in an integrated behavioral health care setting, or virtual care environment
  • Experience with AIMS/Collaborative Care Model or other integrated models of care

Bonus points:

  • Experience training & supervising other professionals and/or paraprofessionals
  • Experience using crisis intervention skills  
  • Experience working with patients & colleagues virtually
  • Experience screening for common mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Experience using various or new tech platforms given virtual environment

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
